Chef Mickey's - MVMCP - when to dine?

My girls specifically asked to have their birthday dinner at Chef Mickey's. We also are going to MVMCP on their birthday.
Now my question is, what would the best time to make our dinner reservations, so that we have no problem getting to the party.

I am thinking 5:00, but wondering if I should do it sooner?

I would go as early as possible - between 4:30 and 5. The parties start at 7 so you would have plenty of time to enjoy dinner and get to the MK that way - you can take the monorail for the atmosphere or you can just walk as it only takes 5 min or so. The nice thing about Chef Mickey's is that with it being a buffet, you can somewhat control how long you spend at the restaurant once you are seated.

I agree with Kakn7294, 4:30 or 5 pm times have always worked for us. Plenty of time to get ready for MVMCP.
Yesterday, my DW heard a rumour that Disney Dining was accepting ADR's for MVMCP! :party: So I called and was able to get our ADR for LTT for December 4th.... only one problem, the only dinner time available wass 6:45 pm!
I took it, but I hope that I can get something earlier in that 4:30-5pm time frame.

We usually try to get ressies at 4:00 -5:00. We like Liberty Tree Tavern!:mickey:

5:00 should be good. Gives you 2 hours before the party officially starts!:mickey:
