Christmas Decorations

When does the Magic Kingdom change its decoratiosn for Christmas? Is it by the first MVMCP?

Decorations start going up Nov 1. The parks are completely finished by the first MVMCP and everything is finished by Thanksgiving. MGM is usually finished pretty quick in time for the Osborne Lights to begin, which is around Nov. 8.

We were at WDW the first week of Dec. 06. Some of the decorations on Main Street were not up until our last day there! :( We went to MVMCP early in our trip and were very disappointed all the decorations were NOT up! Not sure is this is the norm or not.

The decorations are really something worth seeing.:)

Most of the decorations are up around Thanksgiving. But, the MK this past Dec wasn't finished until sometime between the 5th and 9th. I think all the other parks were completely decorated by the 1st of Dec.
