We are leaving in a liitle while. Please send some pixie dust our way. I hate flying and I am making myself sick about it. DH has gotten used to it but I still really, really despise. I'm sick to my stomach right now. :sick:

Stephanie, I know how you feel. I'm the same way :hug:
I hadn't flown in 9 years and the first time after that that I did, I was in tears when the plane taxied from the gate.
I find that keeping my mind busy and distracted from the actual flying thing really helps. I usually take my CD player with some Aerosmith and turn it up loud! :thumbsup:
As I'm typing this you are probably already on your way to the airport so I hope it's a good flight and like Caroleh said, you'll be with Mickey that much quicker :mickey:

I used to be terrified to fly too. I always remind myself that it is statistically much safer than driving and think about how to the flight attendants this is just another boring day at work. But what really works is a glass of wine or margarita right before the flight. Seriously, I recommend it. It did the trick every time (even for early flights I am embarrassed to admit.) In any case, soon you will be eating a mickey mouse rice krispy treat dipped in chocolate (or whatever you prefer!)
