What do you think the crowds will be like the 22-27 of September since there is free dining. Just wondering if the resorts/parks/resturants will be crowded.

You're going at the end of the free dining thing, so I'm guessing you won't find huge crowds. But who knows.

Well, there'll be 3 more people in the World Sept 22-27, cause we're headed down there then!

We were there for the end of the free dining in 2005. It was also the start of the Food and Wine festival. It was crowded. And there was no dining at a sit-down restaurant if you didn't have an ADR. Make sure you have those. HAve fun.

We were down Sept. 2005 and did not have bad crowds at all. Lines for most attractions never got more than a 30 minute wait time posted. World Showcase was a bit busier, with the beginning of the Food and Wine Festival, but still lighter than the crowds we saw at the parks this past Valentine's Week.

We went last year at the end of the free dining plan and we had no problems with crowds. Most we waited was 20 min for the Jungle Cruise. We think it was a great time to go! We also will be going down this year on Sept 22 so add 4 more to the list. It does seem like alot more people know about it this time and those dates seem popular with others on this site. So I would say hope for the best!

We went down mid September last year and the crowds were not too bad. Dinners were busy, but the waits for rides were okay. Nothing more than 30/40 minutes maximum. Some of the days were able to jump right on rides, other days not so lucky.

My sister's family overlapped their vacation last September and were down for part of the same time I was down there. The rest of her stay was the last week of September. She said it was less crowded the second part of the vacation than the first. So, you may be luckier.

September after Labor Day is the least crowded time of the entire year. Even the allure of free dining should not pack the parks.

Have fun!

i would think the crowds will be very manageable :mickey: we are going the15th - 22nd and i am hoping for manageable, we spent labor day week there last year and the crowds were not bad at all, i would think the weeks following it would be even lighter :mickey:

Add 4 more people. We check in on the 15th.

We were there at this time last year as well, and although you did need reservations to sit down and eat - almost anywhere - the parks weren't overly crowded.

Our longest wait was POC and that was only 20 minutes.

Add another 3 - we will be there the 19th to the 26th. We have been the last two Septembers, and crowds have been very managable. Longest I waited in a line for a ride in the last 2 years was about 20 minutes - for RnR and EE. Most ride lines were closer to 10 minutes. You definitely need ADRs to eat, but otherwise, no problems!

The Unofficial Guide has the crowds at 4-6 for the entire time you're there...in other words, the crowds shouldn't be too bad.
