Doing the College Program again!!

I am so excited! I was accepted to go back down to Disney on my third college program. I was acepted for custodial on the Summer Alumni program. I will be there May 16-Aug 10. Only 15 more days to go!!

I worked at Ft.Wilderness, my role was hospitality, so I checked guests in and out of the resort. I loved it! I was there Spring of 05.

I just wanted to add something- I just realized you said you did Spring 2005. I was there too! I was in merchandise at the MK! Where did you stay- Vista or Chatham? I was in Chatham 25102.

Congrats!!! I'm a former CPer as well! I was a lifeguard at CBR loved it! I'd probably still be there if 9-11 never happened! Have fun!

I lived in Chatham also! I think it was 3101...I think...not totally sure! I'll be in Disney in June...I'll have to keep an eye out for you!

Congrats! If you don't mind telling, how do you get into the college program? My DS would like to do this when he is of age. Anything he should know going into high school that will better his chances?

That is awsome he is considering it! There is nothing in HS that you really need to do. All you need to do the CP is: have completed one semester in college, be in good standing with the school (usually that means have a 2.0+ GPA), and have a good personal record. With those he should be fine. Also, you need to be at least 18, but in college that probably should not be an issue. There is also the Career Start program. That is for people just out of HS and have not started college yet. I think this website should give more info on that:
