We will be at WDW 9/13 - 9/22 with the Magic Your Way Package Park Hopper. With the "Not So Scary Halloween Party" at MK on 2 of those days, do we have to purchase additional tickets to go to the MK on these days/nights?

Yes. The Halloween Party (MNSSHP around here) is a separately ticketed event. Your MYW Park Hoppers can not be used for admission. (Even Annual Passholders have to buy separate tickets for MNSSHP)

Also - buy them in advance. There a a lot less MNSSHP tickets sold than "normal" admission/capacity, so they do sell out.

What is normal attendance size for these nights? At what point to they close the parks to guests for overcrowding?

I don't know how many tickets they sell, but they don't have overcrowding or close the park, since they sell less MNSSHP tix than they would allow guests on a regular night. In the late afternoon, they begin herding people who don't have a MNSSHP ticket out of the park and those that do can either enter and get a wristband or (if they are already in the park) head back to the turnstiles for one.

The ride lines are pretty quick on these nights, which is great.

the Party and park tickets are 2 separate purchases. You may not want to go to the MK that day if you are going to the party at night. You can get into the park early with the party ticket and really it is quite enough time to get plenty in. Something to consider. :mickey:
