How many of you REALLY had a dream come true at WDW? One of ours was to to be chosen to be the Grand Marshals of a daytime parade. It happened!

Another was to be chosen to be in The Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular (it now has happened almost a dozen times - we just know how to do it now).

Another was to be the VERY first person in line for Peter Pan for the day (small dream - but it happened!!!)

Another was finally meet and talk to Peter Pan (it used to be VERY hard to find Peter - in times past, they just didn't have any or many Peters).

What are some more dreams that really came true?

On our trip last May, we had lots of amazing things happen! We got chosen to open MGM, we were the "stunt family" for the Backlot tour ride pre-show thing with the water, and we got to be the "First Safari Family" (first family to go in the park, then ride the ride all by ourselves)! It was such a fun trip :cloud9:

I was proposed to by the Man of my Dreams :prince: at Alfredo's in Epcot. That was pretty cool.

The coolest thing was that a few days earlier, I had allowed myself to imagine it - "what if he asks me to marry him on this trip?" The way he did it was almost identical to the way I imagined it - to the detail!

Since then, he and I have had made lots of memories at WDW and DL and lots of little dreams have come true!

I've had many Dreams come true at Disney... When I was 6 years old, I was at Disneyland w/ my family and my Aunt. After the Electric Light Parade I looked my aunt in the eyes and said "I'm going to work here someday," And every time that we went to WDW, when I was way to young to work, like 9 years old, I begged my mom to stop so I could get a job! My dream as a child was to work in entertainment for Disney, somehow some way. And it all came true!

All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.

I was chosen to be Veteran of the Day. That was AWESOME !

Other than that, no "biggie", but we're going again in Dec., so "it could happen". (Quote from Angels in The Outfield).

Nothing super special has ever really happened to us. :( But we go there and have the time of our lives anyway! I guess that being the Flag Family at WL was a dream come true... as I dreamed about it ever since I found out about it!

How does one get to be the Family of the Day? So many people on here have.

Also, what about Veteran of the Day? My dad served in the Coast Guard, and it would be cool for him to do that.

One dream was to someday see Harrison Ford in person. It happened at the Disney/MGM Studios! Yes! The REAL Harrison Ford (not the AA in The Great Movie Ride."

My daughter and I went to Disney on a girls only trip. She was 6. While waiting in line for AK to open, a lady came up to me and asked if we would like to open the park! I almost started crying! It took all my will power to hold back my tears. My DD and I were escorted past everyone and through the gates. Then we went to guest relations and she got to put on a special AK cast shirt! I videod her as she stood in front of everyone and the CM announced that she was opening the park. Then, we got to hurry and start walking towards EE before anyone else!

It was truly magical!

My DW, DD and DS and I were chosen to open Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner. We got to go in the back and meet all the characters for autos and photos, then we went upstairs and rang the bell and announced the opening.
Also, we were going up the escalator to Chef Mickey's for breakfast when a man called us back down. His family had 4 tickets to Cirque du Soliel they were not able to use. He had been standing in the lobby looking for a family of 4 to give them to. That was really cool!:mickey:

Not too much has happened to me. We were site of the day at FW once, and another time I was the 100th patron of the day at the Plaza Restaurant on Main Street and got a free dessert.
