Which Day Should I Go to MVMCP?

We either want to go on Thursday Dec 6th the day after we arrive, they will not be offering the advance ticket price discount, which scares me because I don't want to go when its crowded.

OR

Sunday Dec 9th I have heard that weekends are a bad idea to go to MVMCP on but they are still selling the discounted tickets for this date.

My main concern is crowds, I want it to be a fairly uncrowded night.

Discount or not, Thursday will probably be less crowded than Sunday.

I would probably go on Thurs. However, we went last year and MVMCP was a lot more crowded than the parks were that day. In fact, the crowds were very low the entire week we were there. We never needed a fastpass until MVMCP. We were all very surprised and wondered were all the people came from. So be prepared just in case.
