Here's the scenerio. You've arrived yesterday and checked in. Perhaps you went straight to a park. Or, maybe you took it a little slower, went to DTD and did some shopping. Ate Dinner. Came back early, refreshed for the next day. Anyway, it's your first FULL DAY ON PROPERTY. Tell me about it. Here's mine:

I awaken around 5:30 a.m. and head to the Pepper Market to purchase a refillable coffee mug and a paper. I return to the room to wake both my DW and DD3. (It will be her third visit and this trip is about her.) After getting dressed, we catch the bus to...Magic Kingdom. We have 8:45 PS at the Chrystal Palace, so we're in the park before it opens. Lot's of pictures and videos here before heading to Adventureland. We probably catch The Tiki Room then work our way to POTC. Maybe we ride the Jungle Cruise on the way, if the line's not too long. DD3 is still too small for SM or BTMRR so we head back up Frontierland for the Country Bear Jamboree. Then, it's time for the Haunted Mansion. (Surprisingly, my daughter LOVES this ride.) On to Fantasyland.

Grab a FastPass for Peter Pan and get in line for Mickey's Philharmagic. Afterwards, it's time for lunch at the Pinocchio Haus, watching IASW. We probably ride that next, then use our FP for Peter Pan. (Remember, this is MY PERFECT DAY so things work out perfectly!) We grab a FP for Winnie the Pooh and get in line for Dumbo, which surprisingly is not very long! Over to the Mad Tea Party before returning to Winnie the Pooh ride. It's probably nearing 3:00 p.m. by then, which is her reservation for the Bippity Boppity Boutique at the Castle. Photos (and tears) later and we head down Main Street, U.S.A. for some shopping.

We take the boat ride over to the Wilderness Lodge for dinner at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. Lot's of BEEF and screams. A quick walk around the resort and catch they geyser before we head back to Magic Kingdom. It's the MNSSHP tonight and we've got tickets. Upon returning, it's time to head over to see the new Laugh Club, and then Buzz Lightyear. We then park ourselves on the curb at Main Street for a perfect view of the parade. Grab some snacks from the Main Street Bakery, then head back over to ride the Haunted Mansion again. (You have to ride that at night during MNSSHP.) Make sure we get lots of candy and work our way back to see the fireworks. Shop some more on Main Street then head back to the resort with a completely exhausted (and overjoyed) little girl. She falls asleep in my arms on the bus. Dad-O (that's me) carries her back to the room and tells her (and her mother) a bedtime story. Our first full day is over. Now tell me yours. I'm dying to hear it.!

Awww... that's cute!

Ooooh, I had a hard decision to make -- with or without kids? So I decided without because we always go with them and it is always pefect (although challenging in the restaurants)

Mark and I would sleep in late at the Grand Floridian and stroll on over to MK, where we would have a leisurely breakfast of French Toast Loaf and Apple Charlotte at the Main Street Bakery. Then we would linger on Main Street and see the things we never get to see and we would take a nice tour of the Castle grounds as well.

Then we would go for an early lunch at the Liberty Tree Tavern, my all time favorite place to eat at WDW. I would have the Colony Salad with Mozarella sticks and the Liberty Shortcake AND the Butter Griddled Pound Cake. I would also have a taste or two of Mark's dessert.

Then we would take the transporter (it isn't a perfect day without Star Trek technology!) over to Animal Kingdom and we would take our time in the Oasis and the Maharaja Jungle Trek in Asia (after grabbing a cup of tea) and the Pangani Trail in Africa.

Then take the transporter back over to GF and do the Afternoon Tea (I like tea).

Then off to Epcot to tour the World Showcase, and all the shops, and my husband would get down on one knee and propose buying me an expensive Norweigan sweater, and I would gratefully accept. I would also tell him that I deserve a School Bread. He would agree wholeheartedly.

Then off to dinner at the California Grill to watch the fireworks at MK. I would have a salad of endive and mache, the oak fired filet, and the strawberries forever for dessert. Mark would get the honey crunch cake and give me half of it.

Then we'd head back to the Grand Floridian, spend a bit of time in the hot tub and go to bed and SLEEP undisturbed. Oh yes, undisturbed sleep is the best, most perfect way to end any day :cloud9:

This is a tough one! There are so many possibilities! My plan for our first day next trip is to stay at Beach Club, enter Epcot on opening, do Soaring, Test Track, the Living Seas, Nemo, Space ship Earth and probably more time than I would enjoy watching my boys play in Innovations area. When it gets hot, the fountain is a must for the 3 year old especially. Now we all eat counter service lunches in various stops in the world. Since it is a perfect day the kidcot stops correspond perfectly with my shopping! We head to Stormalong for an afternoon swim with the cousins and Grandma and then have dinner at Cape May. We drive over to Magic Kingdom. There is no wait for Space Mountain or Buzz:mickey: since it is my perfect day. We catch a few more rides and then catch a perfect spot for the parade and wishes. We may nibble on a rice krispy micky or perhaps save our appetite for the kitchen sink at Beaches and Cream. Do you think it is possible that this would happen? It is my plan!

Another perfect day would involve opening Magic Kingdom and California Grill....

I wake before anyone else in the room at WL, incredibly refreshed. I make a pot of tea and sit on the balcony reflecting on the many blessings I have received. DH stirs after a while and comes out to join me in companionable silence. Once the teapot is empty, I take a shower while DH wakes the kids so they can answer the wake-up call. By the time I am dried and dressed, so are they. While DH gets ready, the kids enjoy yogurt for breakfast without making a mess  (hey, you said this was my perfect day).

All polished and shined, we head to the dock to grab the MK boat, which is waiting for us when we get there.

At MK am emh, we enjoy Fantasyland with virtually no crowds. Then it's time for Toontown. From there we move on to Tommorrowland for Indy Cars and Buzz Lightyear, where I finally get a laser that works ;) , enabling me to score a respectable number of points. Following Buzz, DD and I do SM and start the mountain trifecta. Then on to BTMRR and finally, Splash Mtn. We enjoy Frontierland and Adventureland for a while longer before heading back to WL for lunch and a rest/swim.

Later, we take the boat to CR (DS is nuts about WDW boats) and from there hop the monorail to Epcot (snagging seats in the front car). At Epcot, DD and I go to Soarin (yes, there are still FPs available) and then enjoy Figment with DS. Then its on to TT and maybe the tame version of MS before we try Le Cellier for the first time. After dinner, we make our way around the WS to pick up souveniers, and then head back to WL to put two very sleepy kids to bed while we sit in the rocking chairs just outside our front door overlooking the WL lobby.

Ahhhhhhhh, that felt good :mickey:

Okay, but just remember, you asked...

Wake up at the Wilderness Lodge, and while the three girls are taking their time getting ready...sigh... I enjoy a cup of coffee while sitting on the balcony enjoying my wonderful woods view. :pine:

Of course they are taking their time, so I take a walk around the lobby, and because Whispering Canyon is so noisy, I decide to take a quiter walk in the courtyard. When I get back to the room, the girls are ready to go, and we're off to the boat dock for the ferry to MK! :sail:

The Magic Kingdom is not even open yet, but we have reservations for breakfast at Crystal Palace, so we are allowed in for a quiet morning stroll along a dewey Main Street with an unobscured view of the castle. I'm quietly holding back my emotion -sniff, as I watch the girls enjoying the view with as much excitement as I had always hoped.

We have a wonderful breakfast with Pooh and his friends.:piglet:

Then, because the MK is still just starting to open, we have an unimpeded path to Fantasyland, where we are able to get on all of the key rides more than once before the lines build up. :dumbo:

After that, we make a sweep of Frontierland, Liberty Square, and Adventureland, enjoying POTC three times, before lunch at Ray's, and an afternoon in Toontown and Tomorrowland. We watch the afternoon parade and go on a few more rides before heading back to the ferry, and home to the WL, where we have a lovely dinner at Artist Point (or a rowdy one at Whispering Canyon:horse: ) and after a night time stroll around WL, we head off to bed going over the next day's plans with the kids before they fall asleep. :sleepin:

Then we attack the mini bar :wine: and then...

I wake up at 06:30am in the castle, and I feel so blessed that I won the YOAMD night's stay there. Surprisingly everyone in my family is already up and dressed, so I get the bathtub and bathroom to myself.

Once I'm bathed and dressed, we walk over to Crystal Palace and eat with Pooh and the gang. We then walk over to Fantasyland for Little Ones Extra Magic Hours where we play hide and seek with the characters and ride all the rides. (Snow White tells me that if she wasn't already married to The Prince, she would have married me. [Which makes my wife clutch my arm even tighter.])

We go over and Wake Up Tink in Tinkerbell's Treasures, then we ride rides (with minimal waits) until lunch.

Lunch is at EPCOT & Le Cellier. As always, it is delicious.

After lunch, we ride Soarin', Test Track, and Mission Space. We're heading over to ride Figment & we talk about how great it is that they've changed it back to the old version, and we talk about how glad we are that they're taking out "Ellen's Universe Of Energy" and replacing it with a new ride called "The Great Explorers & Explorations."

It's getting a bit late, so we head over to the Cali Grill for dinner. As we finish dinner and they are bringing dessert, the fireworks go off in the MK. We all look at each other and say how thankful we are that this is only the first day of our 30 day vacation.

What a GREAT thread!

My day would start off bright and early, at around 6:30 AM. I would grab a pastry and a drink from the Poly concierge lounge, go sit on the beach on a swing, and enjoy the lovely peaceful view of the castle. Then my family would wake and get ready, and we'd all enjoy a light breakfast in the concierge lounge.

Hop on the monorial to MK for a Little Ones Early Magic Hour. Play with characters and do all the Fantasyland rides. At 10, head over to the mountains, ride/get fast passes for Splash and BTMRR. Ride Pirates, Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion. Eat an early lunch at Cindrella's Royal Table.

Since this is my fantasy day and my kids and my husband will have boundless energy not needing a nap, we will continue on...to Tomorrowland, where we collect Fast passes and ride when time...Buzz, Space, Laugh Factory, Carousel, TTA. Then time for the app at BBB inside the Castle...2 Castle packages and 1 Cool Dude. Then dinner at LTT. After dinner, MNSSHP is beginning. We costume watch, and ride everything we want to while everyone else stands in line for candy (I have a bribery system, I tell them in the beginning that we don't stand in line for candy, and I'll buy them each a big bag if they don't have enough by evening end:). We get pictures with the Coach with no line. We have perfect spots for Hallowishes, and then the second parade, where I actually get a picture that turns out of the headless horsman, and my camera battery does not die so I capture the whole parade. Then onto the Villains show. Then back at the Poly where we'll find a magical gift under our door, a signed autographed picture of some cool character.

Alternate ending with no MNSSHP (hey, it is my fantasy, I can have an alternate ending, movies do)

After an early lunch at CRT, back to the Poly for some Sea Raycer action, then a wonderful dinner at Ohana'. Then back to MK for walk on rides everywhere (remember, my fantasy, let me dream). At one point, we ride Splash 3 times without getting off. Then we watch Spectro, which I haven't seen in a few years because I hate crowds, from a perfect vantage point. Then we exit, go back to the Poly and watch the Fireworks from our perfect spot on the beach that we discovered last trip, sipping Lapu Lapus all the while. Heaven.

OK, you have to take this with the topic in question.

I would be there with my DW and DD. For some unknown supernatural tear in the space/time continuum, no one else was there but the three of us and all the CMs. :cloud9:

It would just be my DD able to be escorted by which ever character she desired to ride with her on any ride she wanted.

I would be at the MK early in the morning for EMH. As soon as I am through the turnstyles I take my time walking up Main Street taking pictures of a nearly empty park and get some gorgeous shots of Cinderella Castle. It's sunny and warm but not hot and humid. At 8:30 I have breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table and meet all my favorite princesses.

The entire day lines are moving fast and waits are next to nothing. I start in Fantasyland after breakfast and hit everything- Small World, Snow White, Peter Pan, Dumbo, Tea Party, Philgharmagic and Pooh. Then it's on to Frontierland to visit Brer Rabbit and ride Spash a couple of times. Next it's BTMRR. I take a quick stop for a Dole Whip in Adventureland before riding Pirates and Jungle Cruise. I'm getting hungry again so it's off to Casey's for a hot dog and fries. While I'm sitting outside listening to the piano player the parade begins and I have a primo spot!

After the parade I head to Liberty Square and ride Haunted Mansion over and over. It's my favorite ride. Next I hit up Frontierland again to grab a fastpass for Splash. Characters are out everywhere in Fantasyland and I get great pictures with Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit, Chip and Dale, and Daisy. Next it's off to Toontown to visit Mickey and Minnie's House. In the Exposition Hall I walk right up to the character meets and see Donald, Goofy and Pluto. Then it's on to the big cheese himself in the judge's tent! I take the train back to Frontierland and use my Splash fastpass.

Around dinner time I have an ADR at Liberty Tree Tavern. yum! After dinner I slowly make my way to the front of the park, stopping to shop around and get a treat at the confectionary. Around 8:45 I find a seat on the upper level of the train station and enjoy my dessert while waiting for Wishes. Wishes is awesome as usual! After it's over I walk over to Tomorrowland, my favorite land to see at night. I ride Buzz, CoP, the TTA, Astro Orbiter and Space Mountain. It's almost closing time, so I make my way back to Fantasyland and walk through the castle one last time and watch the end of Spectromagic. Mickey kisses us all good night and I leave the park. I take the monorail back to the Polynesian where I'm staying and fall into bed dreaming about my day and looking forward to doing it all again tomorrow.

We wake around 6:30. I shower (everyone else does this the night before) and then wake DH. He wakes the kids and they all get dressed and ready while I'm drying my hair. I fix DD's hair and then we go to the food court for a quick bite.

We drive to MK. This way the kids get to ride the tram and I get to ride the Ferry. Then we watch the wonderful opening show and if this were a perfect day, we would be the opening family:mickey:

We go straight down Main Street USA and watch the trolly people sing. Then we go around the castle to the left (it is usually closed off for a show) and straight on to Small World.

From there it is anyone's guess. We usually let each DK decide what their favorite next ride will be and DH gets to go to the Haunted Mansion.

We would get fast passes for BTM and SplM. Watch the country bears and then head over to tomorrowland and ride the TTA and see CP. Then have lunch at Cosmic Rays.

After a leisurely stroll beside the train tracks to Toontown Fair, we would go into County Bounty and look through all the fun merchandise and get in line to see the characters! Then we would take the train around to Fronteirland and see anything we missed in FL or AL.

And again, if it were the "PERFECT" day the dream squad would give us a 15 day cruise through the Panama Canal!:mickey:

Then we would go to Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner. Watch Spectro Magic and fireworks and leisurely walk out of the park.

Here we go again...

Now remember, you asked for my perfect day... keep in mind that this could never happen...

I wake up at 6am in my woods view room at Wilderness Lodge with a view of the Castle (I did actually have this on our last stay there!). Bobby and Taylor are already up and ready to go!! We sit on the balcony and drink our coffee then head to the boat for our ride to Magic Kingdom and breakfast at Crystal Palace. The boat is waiting for us when we get there and we arrive at MK in no time. We walk into an empty park and take lots of pictures before heading to our yummy breakfast. All of the regular carachters are there, but today a few extras have joined us... all of the princess' and Mickey!

After breakfast we had to our favorites: Mickey's Philharmagic, Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Splash and BTMRR. When we exit the ride a CM stops us to ask us if we would like to ride in the parade! Of course we say yes and they tell us where to meet.

We head to Tomorrowland and ride Buzz (where I get a perfect score), TTA, Space mountain and see the comedy show. Next we grab a hot dog at Casey's (got to save ourselves for dinner at LeCellier) then line up for the parade. I get to ride with my boyfriend, Mickey. We have the time of our lives... and when it is over we get a DVD of the entire parade.

After the parade we head over to Epcot. Of course there is no wait for the Monorail and we get to sit up front... all the way. When we get there we walk right on Soarin' (front row) and Turtle Talk with Crush. Then we grab some roasted nuts and walk around the World Showcase starting in Mexico. We watch World Showcase Players and Bobby gets picked to play the role of the King. He does an amazing job. We get to LeCellier just in time for dinner and have some wonderful steaks and cheese soup. After dinner we sit in the VIP viewing section for Illuminations.

Since Magic Kingdom has EMH we head back to for a few more rides and the special showing of Wishes at midnight. We arrive and run into some friends, Teay, Piglet and SgtTigger. We get something sweet from the confectionary and grab a table to talk. When Wishes starts we have a perfect viewing spot. We all ride a few rides together, TTA (or as Bret calls it, the TTC), Pirates and I beat them all at Buzz. Then we head back to the resort. There is no wait at the boat dock and we are the only ones on the boat! We get back to WL, grab some hot chocolate and sit on the balcony watching the castle change colors..... :cloud9:

My wife, kids, and I wake up in our Laek View room at the Boardwalk at a comfortable 7;30am. My wife says, "I'll only put on a little makeup today." We get the kids dressed and get to the bus stop at 8:10 where we are lucky enough to catch a bus to AK just as it pulls up. We arrive and walk through the empty park until we get to our Breakfastsaurus with Donald@8:30. After the good meal, we catch the Nemo show and the Safari.

We quickly catch a bus to Epcot where sit down for lunch at Tangeriene Cafe. We then catch several live shows, hit the Maelstrom, fly on Soarin', and catch a Fountain Show. The rest of the day is perfect because we are IN Epoct. Illuminations ends the day perfectly, as usual.

after a pleasant sleep at the Grand Floridian, we take our time getting over to AK for our breakfast at Rainforest cafe.
We head over to the safari area and since it's bright and early we see an unprecedented number of animals, all eager to meet our truck. Including a group of lions who form a 'human pyramid' for our entertainment. This only being surpassed by the monkeys who perform rope tricks for us later on.
After my Sweetie rides Everest 14 times in a row, we leave AK and return to our hotel so we can change into our MNSSHP costumes- I'm Mary Poppins and Huzzah is a penguin (hey, it's my fantasy, right?) and we have an early dinner at O'Hanas then head over to MK for the party. The candy has been replaced with fresh fudge samples and mickey rice krispie treats and we hit every ride before gettign our primo seats for the parade.
After the fireworks we stroll back to the hotel contented.

Wow! I just thought it was interesting how similar the start of our imaginary day went! I think the major difference was that your kids were ready to go, and mine were taking their time. I guess that's the difference between having boys and girls! :girl:

My perfect Disney day is simple. It would be a day where my GF's back didn't bother her at all so I could see her really enjoy herself to the fullest. Also my whole family being there with us. Those two things alone would make it perfect no matter what we did.

This is just one possible "perfect" day -

I would wake up at AKL and be ready by 7am. Then I would relax in a rocking chair watching the animals while my friends got ready. We would arrive at MK a little early for our 8:15 am ADRs and take a few pictures of us in front of the castle. Amy loves the Pooh characters, so we would all have a great time interacting with them. After breakfast we could hit the Tiki Room, Jungle Cruise, Splash, BTMRR, HM, PP, IASW, Philharmagic, Pooh, the Teacups, Space Mountain, and Buzz Lighyear. Since the lines are non-existent, it is 1pm when we get done with all those rides.
We head to Casey's to grab some lunch and shop along Main Street. We have massages scheduled at 2 pm, but they are very special. Since it's my perfect day, POTC is actually the Disneyland version, and we get our massages in the Bayou section of the ride. (We can somehow lie there amongst the fireflies, but no one riding the ride can see us.)
After our own private ride on POTC, we do some shopping in the shop at the end of the ride. Then it's off to ride Splash, BTMRR, HM, Buzz and Space Mountain again. Dinner is at Liberty Tree Tavern where Sharon gets some extra special attention from Chip and Dale, her favorites. Sharon and Amy head off to ride some rides, and I get to spend some time wandering around taking pics while we wait for the park to empty out for the Pirates & Princess Party.

I get the perfect spot for pictures of the parade and fireworks, and Sharon and Amy appear with schoolbread for me to snack on while we wait. After the parade and fireworks, the park is practically empty, so we get the characters to ourselves. Captain Jack escorts us around to the different lands where we have the time of our lives. Then it's back to AKL to sleep in the next day.

First day at the resort:

Wake up in the morning. Get sodas for our refillable mugs, and get ready to head to the parks. Stop at the cafe at the resort to pick up a quick breakfast and head towards MK. Eat breakfast at CRT at 8:05am. Take some wonderful pictures of the park, with no people there. Ride SM, SpM, and BTMRR. See all the attractions I want with little to no wait. Go on all the rides with little to no wait. Visit all the characters. Eat lunch at The Plaza Restaunrant and eat dinner at Tony's Town Square. Watch Wishes from MS:USA.

Perfect day eh? Ok, so I'll wake up in a Deluxe resort because I'd actually be able to afford it. I head off to the parks with all fastpasses, it's around 70 degrees with no humidity, low crowds and my feet won't hurt.

EvilQueen2006

I would start out the day at an EMH in MK. Hit all the Fantasyland rides before any lines build up. Then its time for BTMRR, and Splash, Pirates, then on to Liberty Square for a ride on Haunted Mansion and lunch at Columbia Harbor House. Because it is a perfect day and there are no lines, all this is done by noon. I catch the first bus to AK and find no line for Everest or the Safari and so I ride both and get another bus to MGM. I grab a Turkey leg on my way to ToT and RNRC. What a perfect day. They are showing an early Fantasmic which lets me see it with plenty of time to take a boat to to Epcot in time for Illuminations and EMH to explore the WS (stopping for Viking Coffee and schoolbread in Norway). I end the day with a couple rides on Soarin' and Mission Space.

Oh yeah, at some point during the day, I will be approached by the Dream Squad and will be given the DVC prize!

Our perfect day would be to wake up at AKL with a great view of the Savannah. Our DD's would be showering etc for the day while DH and I sat on the balcony drinking out coffee, just relaxing. The animals approached and graze right in front of us. Heading off the MK via a monorail system that hit EVERYWHERE in WDW, we would go to the Kona Cafe at Poly for some Tonga Toast. Go on over to MK now because it is EMH and no one is there, we have the park to ourselves for a bit and can go on any attraction we wish. FP would not be needed because we would have "head of the line" service for the day. Lunch would have to be at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary and then ride the monorail to EPCOT for dinner at LeCellier, watch Illuminations and then return to MK for Spectro and Wishes. After enjoying such beuatiful sights, we would hang out in MK until everyone had cleared, get some amazing photos of the castle and then shop on MS USA, without getting shoved around. And end the day with a delicious cappacino and a night in the Castle Suite.

My perfect day would go somethinglike this.....

I would wake up first at 6:30 in our villa at the WL and enjoy a cup of tea and a fresh baked blueberry muffin I had sent to our room on the porch. Then I would take a long soak in the whirlpool tub as everyone awakes. As soon as I am finished everyone is ready and we take the boat to MK. We have reservations for Crystal Palace so we head over there while the park is still closed and have a wonderful breakfast with Pooh. When we are finished we realize that there is barely anyone in the park. So we head over to Fronterland and ride Spl Mtn and BTMRR without having to get off multiple times then we head over to Adventure land and ride POC with no wait and I get a Dole Whip as we leave the park. Then my mom my sister and I head over to the GF for our spa treatments and afternoon tea. Then we catch up with everyone around 4:00 and head to the Contemporary for dinner at the Cali Grill. As they ring out our deserts we watch the fireworks. Then we head back to Mk for EMH where we are the only ones in the park and get to ride all our fav rides and we win the night stay in the castle. As we explore our room we find a note from cinderella that says we've also won a months stay in the castle room.

Ahhh... I wish this dream would come true... and jst remember you asked.:mickey:
