We are going at the end of June. I noticed that the Hauted Mansion will be closed for Rehab during this time...I think through Sept. Are they doing a major rehab on this?

Yep. It's pretty major, similar to what they did with the DL HM.

Man - that's really unfortunate. Have you done this ride before or would this have been your first time? It's always been one of my favorites.

I've actually heard due to budget restraints, the additions made to the DL HM are not going to be put in to the MK HM. Rumor has it, this rehab includes a photo opportunity during the hitchiking ghost scene, a gift shop toward the end of the attraction, and much needed TLC on the doom buggies and the mansion.

They definetely need a gift shop for HM! All they ever had was a tiny little cart. i think the photo op sould be a great addition.:thumbsup:
