Dinning Question - keeping track of credits?

How does one keep track of the dinning plan crredits? Can you check your credit balance at the front desk of your resort? When you use a credit will your balance show up on your receipt? Or are you just suppost to keep track in your head?

Whith a purchase, just ask the CM. they will print it up for you.

It will be at the bottom of the receipt at the end of the meal.

Be careful. We had the free dinning plan in October 2005 and had a lot of problems with the credit count. What it said on the bottom of the receipt didn't always match what Disney had in their system.

I didn't worry too much about it, since we charged everything to the room anyway, so once our plan ran out (due to signature dining), it was taken care of automatically. However, I did check receipts and printouts from the front desk and never had a problem with counts.
