Christmas parade

i would like to visit wdw during the christmas season to see all the decorations. does anyone know what date they usually start having the christmas parade?

This past year it was mid to late Nov (I don't know the exact dates but they are definately up by the week of Thanksgiving) but you can only see the parade as part of MVMCP until the week of Christmas when the party events become "free" - but you pay through the nose for accommodations and the place is packed to the gills.

The Christmas parade opens to the public after the last Christmas Party, as Jason stated. That would be December 22 this year.
