Aloha Dinner Show

Has anyone ever been able to get last minute reservations at the Polynesian Dinner show?
The show is all booked up for the week we were going and I thought I read a post about someone being able to make a last minute reservation by going to the resort itself.

I have read that people have had the concierge at poly "find a cancellation" at the last minute....

I know, I know, that's not supposed to happen .....but I'm not naive enough to believe it doesn't

1) Concierge can sometimes get ADR's at THEIR resort.
2) This happens for frequently "sold out" venues.
3) This happens more than most people know.
4) Not too good for places outside THEIR resort.
5) But, often for events at their own resorts.

There is a penalty on your credit card if you don't cancel your reservations at the Luau. I would call WDW-Dine a day or two before the day you want to go, and you may find room if someone has cancelled.
