Our daughter's U-11 soccer team is considering participating in one of the Summer 2008 soccer tournaments at WDW Wide World of Sports. Naturally checking Intercot first for any parents or players or coaches who have participated in prior WDW WWS youth tournaments who could share their knowledge about the experience with us. Some questions we have are:

1) Did your team have a "no parks until after the tournament" rule / curfew to prevent park-induced player burn-out during the actual tournament days? If so, how did this go over ? If not, did your team experience any player game day park-burnout?

2) Did your players have any problems playing 60 minutes in the July Florida heat?

3) There's a WWS Length-Of-Event (LOE) pass @ $19 adult / $14 child that covers WWS admission. But fd players / families also have to use up a "Park Hopper Pass- Water Park Fun and More Option" day in order to gain access to the Disney property and WWS for the tournament? Concern is using up Park Hopper days and not having many left to actually visit the parks / water parks after the tournament is over.

Would appreciate ANY general comments or suggestions regarding any experience with attending a WWS youth tournament (soccer or any other sport) from either the player, coach or parent point of view. It would be of great value to us. Thanks for your insights!
