We are going down for the free dining this year.
My question is ...if DW and I get 2 dinners, can we put one on the plan and pay cash for the other.
We are doing 3 double dinners, so we are thinking about doing that at some of the restaurants, so we can spread it out more. I know we cant at a buffet, but at a regular sit down menu place, we were thinking about doing it.

I don't see why you couldn't... What if you didn't have enough credits, they would need to charge some and not others. Should hold true for guest requests...

Unless you are sharing meals, wouldn't it make as much sense to pay for half of your meals OOP and use credits on the others? That way you can pay the same way for both diners at each meal and avoid confusion.

it shouldn't be a problem to do it that way. We have the dining plan too, and were told that we need to tell the cashier or waitress BEFORE we order how many credits we are using (I am going with 3 adults and 2 kids so we have to specify how many adult and kids meals) we want to use at any particular sitting.

Enjoy the good eats!!
