Unique Snack Options

I'm trying to figure out where I should try and use my snack credits. I really want to use them on a different things other than the same old ice cream bars and popcorn. Are there any great snacks available in the World Showcase? What about at AK? It's seems like finding things are that place is kind of tricky unless you know what you're looking for.

the snack options have been upgraded from what I can see. They now offer a bottle of water or coke, bag of chips, piece of fresh fruit, or a frozen fruit bar instead of Mickey Ice Cream. I read that a lot of the snack carts in Disney have these snack options, so it doesn't sound like it would be too hard to use them!!!

If all else fails, you can use your snack credits just before you leave in the store at your resort. They have a wide assortment of pre-packaged snacks that you can use your credits for. We had a few credits left at the end of our last trip and got chip n dale pretzels, goofy sour gummy worm, etc to take home with us.

But all snack plan items are clearly marked now on the menu's.

Also one thing that is not marked that you can use a snack credit for is the large bottles of water at the resort gift shops. We had a CM tell us when we were getting a couple small ones. Other castmembers later in the trip said they didnt think they were allowed, but they ring up and use a credit, no problem.

I am curious as to everybody's favorites as well, since we'll be doing Free Dining in September. I found this helpful, it's from the Disney Dining Plan FAQ. They are lists of all the snack inclusions on the DP.

i plan on using them on Dole Whip in MK
schoolbread in Kringla in Norway.
and to find something in the shops at MGM or MK.
i might also in the Pepper Mkt at CSR since ill b staying there

We save them all up for the kiosks at the F&W- so now I don't know what we'll do in june!

Anything under $4 at all the participating locations can pretty much be used as a snack.
They're great to use at the specialty shops in WS.
