Apr. 19, 1997 – The Disney animated TV series “Nightmare Ned” began airing on ABC. (Ended Aug. 30, 1997)
Apr. 19, 1997 – Disney’s animated TV series “Duck Tales” began airing on ABC. (Ended Aug. 30, 1997)
Apr. 19, 1998 – “My Date with the President’s Daughter” aired on The Wonderful World of Disney.
Apr. 19, 2001 – Starting on this day, Disney’s Animal Kingdom celebrated “Earth Day 2001” with “Artistry of the Earth” featuring exhibitions of wildlife paintings and photography and African furniture, butterfly releases, and specialty pin-trading.
Apr. 19, 2002 – The “Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival” began. (Ran through June 2, 2002)
Apr. 19, 2003 – WDW’s Magic Kingdom hosted the 1st of 5 Grad Nights.
Apr. 19, 2005 – Disney’s “On The Record” ( a touring musical stage show) began performances at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, Fl.
Apr. 19, 2005 – The new Disney album “Disney Bossa Nova” was released on CD.
Apr. 19, 2005 – The Disney film “National Treasure” was released on DVD and VHS.
Apr. 19, 2005 – Disney released its first two film “Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl” and Kill Bill Vol. I” on video-game format on Sony’s PSP.
