AP discount and Beach club Villas

Does anyone know if the Annual Pass discount can apply to the DVC resorts such as Beach club villas or is it only for the beach club itself?

Last summer we had an AP discount on a 1 bedroom villa at OKW. So I am pretty sure it can be applied.

Yes, AP rates are available for DVC rooms, but they tend to be more booked up in advance by DVC members - especially for busy times of year like Chrsitmas, 4th of July, etc.

It is important to remember that the "AP Discount".....is available for only select rooms at select times.

The way it is often stated on this board is that it is like a Coupon....simply call and say you have an AP and you get a discount.

It is far more complex than that. AP rates are set aside for a certain number of rooms, at a certain number of resorts, for a given set of dates......it is not a scenario where if you they have an empty room, then they give you a disocunt.

This was more a public service announcement to make sure no one misunderstands the way WDW specialty rates work.
