Question regarding room only/package discounts offered by Disney

When Disney offers room only or pacakage discounts, does that include rooms on the concierge level? I guess what I am getting at is, are the concierge level rooms ever discounted? Say, with those 40% pin codes and such?

Although limited - concierge rooms are included.

Great question... On two occasions my wife and I did get a Disney Fla. Residents discount on stays at the BW Concierge and at the Poly Concierge. I don't recall if it was 40% but I do know it was significantly less than the rack rate.

So, I guess the way to go would be booking it with Magical Journeys, and then if a discount comes out, they probably have the best chance of getting it applied, right? ;)

I would definitely go that route.

We tried upgrading at the Animal Kingdom Lodge when discounts were announced and there weren't any left for the days we needed.
