MTV reuniting "Real World" Las Vegas cast

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - MTV is reuniting the Las Vegas cast of its "Real World" series to document what happens when they live together again in their former home.

The cable network and the show's producer, Bunim-Murray Prods., said Tuesday they will start work this month on "Reunited: The Real World," which will premiere in the spring.

The seven cast members will return to their home of five years ago -- a suite at the Palms Casino Resort.

This was my thought exactly! I've been watching RW since college and LV was my LEAST favorite season. Maybe it was the only season where they could get all housemates to return! :thedolls:

I bet they chose it because it was one of the more controversial seasons in terms of debauchery. I mean they are living in a suite at the Palms in Las Vegas!!! I hated that season, and will not be watching this one either.

I think it was one of the highest rated seasons ever, which unfortunately shows a lot for our society these days. :unsure:

I may peek in a bit just out of curiosity. Aren't Alton and Uralan (sp?) no longer a couple?

I agree with you! I am not a fan of Trishelle. I love the RW, with the exception of the last few seasons. I will probably tune in just because I am a reality show junkie :blush: but this was not one of my favorites either. I think they should get a group of the favs on like derrick and brad, robyn, etc and have a show. That would be interesting. Through the witches Beth and Veronica in and you have some drama.:cool:

I wonder if it has anything to do with promoting the Palms in LV? I know that their apartment in the hotel boosted stays at the Palms..maybe that is the reason? Hmm...
However, I will be tuning in!

I might watch it. I've watched RW ever since I was in Jr High. My favorite season was Boston. Anywho... I'm a bigger fan of Road Rules. I like the RW/RR challenges best, but I wish they'd bring a REAL RR back instead of the one they have going now.

I'll tune in for the first few episodes, at least. After a few no so good ones, I quit watching.

They did a Las Vegas reunion because it was one of the highest rated seasons and the Palms hotel really wanted the cast to come back for the publicity that they get. Another reason is that the current Real World seasons havent been doing well, like the current Denver season, which (if you've watched lately), is pointless and uninteresting, and they want to bring The Real World back to how it used to be, back when it was very popular. Can you believe that they are already casting for Season 20?!:ack:

Okay, so did anyone actually watch it?

Being as out of it as I am, and having heard nothing else about it after posting this, I didn't realize it was to be an abbreviated season, or that it had already started airing. I happened to be flipping through the channels the other day, and came across the last two episodes. How many episodes were there anyway?

Everyone seems to have grown up a bit, which translates to....boring. ;)

I watched. There was only about 6 episodes.

It was pretty boring. All they did was rehash past issues, bicker and then drank themselves into oblivion. :unsure:
