Garden Grove Cafe

We are taking a quick trip down next weekend. We are staying at the Swan. We have never stayed there before but it looks nice. We are thinking about eating at the Garden Grove Cafe for breakfast or Gulliver's Garden Grove for dinner. Our 4 year old DS loves Goofy & Pluto. What do you think about the food and/or service?

We tried the Goofy and Pluto Dinner last trip, and we were quite disappointed.

For the price, the food offerings and character interaction were not nearly on the same level as similarly priced buffets at other hotels and inside the parks.

The layout of the room prevented character interaction if you were towards the center. The tables and chairs were crammed in so tightly that Guests had trouble walking through, let alone Goofy or Pluto.

If your priority is convince, this may not be a bad choice as it is right at the hotel. I would recommend that you ask for a table on the exterior of the room so you can interact with the characters better and also have easier access to get to the buffet.

Also keep in mind that the characters do rotate, some nights it is Goofy/Pluto other nights it is Rafiki/Timon.
