Crystal Palace !

Hello I have a ADR for Breakfast at the Crystal Palace, I never ate here before and I have a 4 year old son and I was wondering if there is a preferable seating area that is better to sit and watch the characters mingle and around the restaurant and .. I know this is a crazy question.. just curious is all... Also I guess this question can also be asked for the Play'n Dine in Mgm Studios....:confused:

Every where is a good seat, as the characters constantly mingle around. At Crystal Palace, they will even do a parade around the restaurant.

We ate there for breakfast last fall. It really didn't seem as if you had any choice other than to sit where the CM was seating you.

But, I doubt if would have made any difference anyway.

The characters made the rounds of the entire restaurant, stopping at each table. You just had to be sure not to be at the buffet table when the characters were approaching your table.

We loved the atmosphere and the food. You should have a great time.

I've only done the dinner but as mentioned already, the characters will stop at each table. Depending how long you're there you will get a second visit. :D Also don't worry if you see the character being escorted away by a cast member before he gets to your table. They periodically take breaks but will return to the table that they left off at.

We have had breakfast several times at CP and been thrilled both times! It's just DH and myself but the food and service is wonderful. Kids have an area on the buffet set up for them-kid hight-which I think is great!

Character dining is one of the easiest ways to spend time with characters you love. You'll have plenty of time to take pix with the family and you'll have memories that last a lifetime!

The service at CP is one of best buffet experiences. The CM's are very attentive and we have never had to ask for more juice or coffee. Our plates are removed immediately so they're never taking up room on the table.

The characters were great at Crystal Palace. I like the atmosphere too, but I doubt your yob will notice that, with Pooh and the others around. ;)

Anywhere you sit the characters will visit you. The CM will even sit you so the children are more easily accessable then the adults if that is the way you want it. Each character will visit the table and spend time with the kids, sign autographs, hug, ect. Now if one just happens to miss( which out of the 5 or6 times we ate there it was only one character that missed) we told the CM and they went out of the way to bring that character back. It is also nice when they have the restaurant conga line. The kids really enjoy doing this. This is a not to be missed meal in our books. Have fun and enjoy.

No table is a bad table...I'm not sure that you can even make requests for certain areas....I've never felt the need to.
