So, for those of us who have been to Both parks, which ride do you think is better? (Themeing, actual ride)

Space Mountain at DL BLOWS WDW's version away!!! It is SOOOOOOOOO much better in California!

I was so very disappointed with IASW at DL. Although it's the original, it's a "one sided" attraction where most of the ride takes place on either the left side or the ride side of the vehicle. (This seems to be due to space limitations when placed in the park.) In WDW, IASM is much more elaborate with both sides showing those wonderful animatronics!

True. Space mountain WDW uses DL's MAtterhorn track. Plus, it is pretty bumpy and can hurt...

Spalsh Mountain: DL - I love the sad bunnies and the America Sings animatronics

Space Mountain: DL - I won't even ride the one at WDW anymore, DL's is so smooth

Thunder Mountain: Tie - I don't really care for either

Haunted Mansion: DL by far - DL's has upgraded effects - WDW's in October was embarrassing, I really hope it benefits from its upcoming rehab. I also prefer the scale of DL's building and that you can actually walk in the front door. Finally, I prefer the stretching in DL's stretching room - you really move!

Buzz Lightyear: DL - I love the ability to pick up the guns

IASW: DL - It is its own building which is beautiful during the day and jawdropping at night.

Autopia/Tomorrowland Speedway: DL

Pirates: DL - BY A LONGSHOT!! I can't imagine why anyone would disagree - I know people do - please explain!!

Jungle Cruise: DL - I get the biggest kick out of the new pirahnas and I have had better luck with skippers.

Tiki Room: DL - the WDW one is terrible

Tree House: WDW - I'm not a big Tarzan Fan

Peter Pan: tie

Haunted Mansion: WDW - DL's was closed when I went, so had to choose this one.

IASW: DL - the outside is absolutely beautiful with the topiaries.

Splash Mountain: WDW

Pirates of the Caribbean: DL
The Spanish fortress entry theming at WDW is not bad, but the whole immersive bayou entry theming at DL is a knockout. Love those animatronic fireflies! Eating at DL Blue Bayou restaraunt while overlooking the ride is awesome too. Plus, aren't there two drops in the DL POTC to get outside the berm?

Space Mountain: DL

Haunted Mansion: TIE

Tom Sawyer's Island: WDW
Not a ride per se, but still a worthy comparison point between the two parks... DL's TSI is closed for refurbishment at the moment, but before the closure it was only a shadow of its previous self. Fort Wilderness had to be shut down because of termite infestation... The burning settler's cabin had to be doused because of emissions standards... And Injun Joe's cave had to be filled in because of draconian California safety regulations. Meanwhile, at WDW the Fort still stands (complete with firing rifles!), the settler's cabin still BURNS!, and Injun Joe's cave still yawns with the dark delight of exploratory potential!

I have to add that on our first trip to WDW, while I was blown away with the castle, Fantasyland was very disappointing. DL is much more thematic, while WDW just feels like they stuck attractions in generic buildings.

Also, while I miss the Country Bear Playhouse, the Winnie the Pooh attraction at DL is so much nicer, and has much more of a woodsy feel to it.
