I had been told by some people that I should buy a pair of Birckenstock sandals for our upcoming WDW trip (only 13 days away!!! :cloud9: ), so I bought some. I have tried to wear them to break them in but they are really hurting my feet. My arches have fallen and the arch support in the sandals is very high which causes my feet to hurt, it rubs on the arch of my footand makes it red. I don't want to just not ever wear the shoes because they were very expensive ($130), and it's too late to return them. Does anybody have any ideas on how to make them wearable?

It's not too late to return them. If you bought them from a reputable shoe store they should have 30 day guarantee (and many have a 100% guarantee!). My Birks took almost 1 1/2 months to fully break in. I now prefer Crocs though, they were instantly wearable and WAY more comfy! I wore mine in the world in October for 8 days and had perfect feet! (or so to speak) :mickey:
