In the past you were able to lock your luggage with a little lock if you checked it into the plane. I heard you cant do that anymore. Does anyone know if you can still lock them or not?

Thanks:mickey:

You cannot lock them anymore. If you do, they can cut the locks.

If your luggage was selected to be checked by hand, you will get a little note in the bag ( my grandmother did when we went to MCO on our cruise).

You can lock them, but with TSA approved locks ONLY.

You can still lock your luggage, it just has to be a TSA approved lock. TSA has a master key that will open a TSA lock. Below is a link with more infomation.

Since 2002 we have used the plastic ties you buy at hardware stores and put them on our luggage. We've never had one cut off.
