I have a load of pressed pennies from the 1990s.
Are they worth anything to collectors? My wife heard a rumor that some of the discontinued ones were worth bucks.

Copper retired pressed pennies usually will go for between $1 and $5 on eBay. You won't retire on them, but a nice increase in value.:mickey:

I use eBay to figure out collectible values. No better place to get a pretty good feel for the market.

Look in "Coins &Paper Money, Exonumia, Elongated Coins" with "disney*"

Looks like most are between $1 and $9.

Actually, with the cost of copper these days, all of them are worth more than a penny...

Does anyone have the web site where you can go to find out info about where all the different characters for the pressed pennies are located? DD said she saw one a couple of months ago and has lost it. I wanted to get one of the collector books for the pennies this trip and try to find as many as possible. I do know that Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs are only in the resorts. I saw two of the dwarfs at the Poly in June. DGS collects the pins but I would like to try collecting the pennies for some of the grandchildren.
