I have never been to Fort Wilderness but have am very interested.

We are staying at CS in September.

Can we participate in the campfires or movies? We will have 2 kids with us - 4 and 2 1/2 - would they enjoy the activites?

Anything you can tell me would be appreciated...!!

Yes you can! They have a campfire sing-a-long every night, followed by a movie. Your family should enjoy it!

You can participate. Here's a little more information.

[QUOTE][Chip ‘N Dale Campfire Sing-A-Long is offered nightly at 8PM. The event takes place behind the Meadow Trading Post, Chip 'n' Dale, followed by a cartoon and a full-length Disney movie. Free of charge to resort guests./QUOTE]

Each month, WDWdriver posts the schedule of movies for that month at the top of this forum.

CS is some distance from FW. The question is how you will get there. If you have a car, FW has a parking lot inside the entrance/Outpost. You can take one of the FW buses from the bus stop (can't remember if it's yellow or orange) down to the campfire area. They will announce it, but ask the driver for directions because you have to walk a short distance back to that area. You could also take a bus from CS to MK and take the boat to FW, and take a bus from the Settlement to the campfire area. You need to verify that you could get a boat back to MK and a bus from MK back to CS, ie check the MK hours to see how late the park is open. Taking a bus from CS to DTD to FW and back, could take a significant amount of time. The campfire/movie program IS a lot of fun. Good luck.
