Having stayed 13 days on our last trip, our upcoming 7 day trip seems too short to me. Mind you, I realize so many people would be happy with 7 days. I just think I got spoiled. I guess its NEVER enough WDW!!

Anyway, what is your average length of stay?

The first 3 times I went to WDW, I stayed 6 days. As the prices go up and up, my length of stay goes down and down.

First Trip we stayed 7 days
Next trip we'll stay 8 days
Third trip we'll stay 12 days.

We visit the parks more than once during the trip that way we can get to all the attractions on our wish lists. That means we stay approx eight days for each trip. Its tough to endure 8 days of WDW but we're up to the challenge Ha. Ha.

We usually stay 6 days a trip, but take two to three trips per year. The longest we've ever stayed in one trip was 9 days.

I can't pick one answer. Our stays have ranged from 3 nights to 14 or 15 nights.

Boy, are you ever spoiled!! (I say that in jest, so please don't take offense.)

We normally are there for 6 days and 5 nights. We would absolutely kill to stay longer but it is just not in the budget!

We normally stay 6 nights/7 days. This works for us. Once we stayed 10 nights/11 days and thought this was a couple of days too long. On our first trip we stayed three nights. This was definitely not enough. We go every year (wish we could do more)

I absolutely got spoiled Jasper.

I have to laugh at myself that I don't feel like we can do everything in 7 days now when we have stayed less time than that a few times.

We usually stay anywhere from 10 days to 2 weeks, just depends on the time of year we go.

I want to stay as long as I can! Most trips have been 5 - 7 days but last 2 were longer. Sept '05 was 10 days and Dec '06 was 8 days. Next trip in August is 9 days but the last day is strictly a travel day - no park time :( .

Our usual is 10 days. We take off a day or so during the trip to relax. It's just so much fun that you want to do it over and over! :number1:

My DH has said that if we can't go for at least 2 weeks then we won't go at all because 1 week is just too short - :cloud9:

But if push came to shove and we couldn't go for 2 weeks I would go for 1 week without him

I love him to death but I need my Disney fix regardless of how long it is!:mickey:

Our last trip with 15 days and our upcoming trip that we are about to start planning is for 16 days - YAY!

With plane fares the way that they are, we wouldn't go if we couldn't stay at least 7 days at the park.

I'm so glad to read that there are other folks who feel like 7 days just isn't enough. We've done 7 days the last couple of trips and we honestly feel like we need 14 days... That's just so that we can build in more relaxation time. By day 4 of our 7 day trips, our feet ache and we are tired. By day 6, we are flat out exhausted! I think if we had more time to build in pool time and nap time, we might be better off. However, I agree with other posters... It's awfully expensive to do that many nights! (And hard to coordinate time off from work and school with the kids.)

Nonetheless... You are right guys... It never seems like enough time! :mickey:

Well, when I was a kid, my mom and I went every couple months, and we generally stayed anywhere from 5-13 days (we only lived a couple hours away).

Nowadays, I'm living 15 hours away from Disney, and between school, work, and personal finances, I generally can't stay longer than 3 days, 2 nights (keeping in mind I typically take a few days to visit family in Florida aside from Disney). Then again, 1 day at a Disney Park is better than none at all!

I'm still jealous of all you guys that get to stay longer, though.:thedolls:

Our first visit was 7 nights.
Second visit was 14 nights.
Third visit was 20 nights.
Our next visit is for 16 nights.
We would probably stay longer, but we always pull our son out of school for our vacation and now he is in High School. He will have homework this coming Christmas vacation, but it will be done once we get home from Disney World.

My ideal trip is 10 days but recently been travelling alot solo & meeting people there for the much shorter 3-5 day trips. I have also been piggybacking a quick visit to WDW and a visit to my friends who live about an hour away.

We usually do 9 days, 8 nights I would love to go longer but, that amount of time once a year, works well for us. :mickey:

Our trips have ranged from 5 nights up to 14 nights. We have found that 7 nights is just not enough and the 14 nights was a little too long. My favorite is 10-12 nights so that you get to relax for a day or two on each end - one to come down into relaxation mode and one to gear up and get ready for back-to-work mode. :mickey: We love Disney World though - no other vacation comes close:cloud9: .

We have stayed from 7-14 days. I liked the 14 day trip best :D but DH says anything over 10 is too much for him!

First trip 8 days
last trip 11 days
this year 12 days

We like having a day or two in the middle to spend at the resorts to relax. :marg:

One of theses years we "might" venture off property on one of these days, but havent been motivated yet. :mickey:

Our first trip was 8 days and partway through, DH wanted to extend it, so its 10 days since then. We've never felt like that's too long.

Last four trips were 11 days and it still is never enough time!

We'll always do 7 nights because we stay at a timeshare. This year I added two nights (one on each end) so we have 8 full days. We'll only spend five in parks so we have some relax time:cloud9: which we desperately need after the past year!!!!

Our first trip was for only 4 nights and it just was not long enough, even moreso because it was our first trip so we did not know the way of the world so to speak. Every trip since then has been for 7 nights and we usually wish we had a couple more days but manage to see most of what we want and still have some afternoons by the pool to relax. Our next trip at the end of April will be just DH and I for 3 nights. We know we wont see as much with only 3 nights but this trip is about seeing the things we have wanted to but could not because the girls either were not old enough to or did not want to do. We are hoping to go back in October again for 7 nights. We had thought about cutting it back to 5 nights but could not do it, we don't want to feel like we are rushed and we want to make sure we have time to enjoy the resort.

We stay at least a week at a time, but will be planning a few 3 day trips this year.

7 or 8 nights is good for me. By the end of the vacation, I feel so exhausted, I'm just not having fun anymore. That's when I know it's time to go home.

We always try to stay 6 days. That provides us with one AK day and one MGM day, then we split the other 4 days between MK & EPCOT.

We like to go whenever we can afford it and five days, four nights works out for us. :mickey:

There is no way we can see and do everthing, so it gives us an excuse to retrun as soon as possible. :D

Our first trip we only stayed 4 days. Our next several trips after that we stayed 7 days. Now with the MYW tickets, we stay a full 10 days!

Shortest time was just a get-a-way 4 Days. Longest was 14 day's. It runs from 8 to 12 day's mostly. You can't do a lot with less then a week. Less then a week you don't have time to relax by the pool our just chill. For you first timers. Don't think :cloud9: you are going to get to see everything while you are there. Not going to happen. It will go by real quick.

We find that a week anywhere is not long enough. We usually try for 10-14 days.

We usually stay about 8 days, not including the travel days. But last summer we stayed for 12 and I loved those extra couple of days. It made it seem like we had so much more time.

We stay 10 to 12 days.

Longer stays allow you to relax and take your time.

We almost always do 10 days / 9 nights and stay from Friday to the next Sunday. This year we're doing it a little differently and staying Sunday through the next Tuesday. I think we may be able to enjoy it a little more without an two extra weekend days because they're usually the most crowded.

I think the shortest Disney trip we've ever taken was two days for the Mission: Space Annual Passholder Preview. (DH's idea - he loves anything that flies)

Having to agree with my next door neighbor here. If we can't stay at least for 7 days, it really isn't worth it. It is just too expensive to fly there from CA.
