Default August Disney Adventure food delights

August at WDW is very hot so my food choices are very different from my December or April trips. Water was the beverage of choice. Lots of water. I only had coffee one morning (at Kona’s) ans I drank diet coke more than I should have. I don’t drink it at home anymore and after drinking it 2 days at WDW I was CRAVING it. Now I have to not drink it again for a long while.

Our favorite meal was at Olivia’s at Old Key West. The fried chicken is very good. My brother said it was his favorite meal. Out of the way if not at resort but worth the trip if you have some extra time.

Toy Story Land counter service has a great breakfast. I wasn’t in the mood for eggs. I got the pop tart with Nutella. Pastry was extremely good and I enjoyed. Would be a good item to split with someone. It is a good size and pretty sweet. I got the kids’ some more sandwich which was very good. It came with tator tots, a little orange, milk and it was great for a hot day. The area for counter service was fine early but I bet the seating gets really hot. They should have put a cover over it so people could eat out of sun and rain if needed.

Kona’s for breakfast- coffee and macadamia pancakes. We split an order.

AK day I went to Flametree when it opened and enjoyed lunch. I like the mixed platter so you can try a little of everything. And the onion rings!

Enjoyed Poly’s counter service one evening. The pork sandwich with Asian slaw is very good. I stopped at the Contemporary and got a little birthday cake about the size of the cupcakes. It was really good and so cute!😋❤️

Went to SciFi and got the appetizer platter- buffalo wings, fried pickles, crab and cheese dip, tortilla chips, very good. Wish they put a little celery on the plate. I love the atmosphere, a perfect evening dining spot.

Ate at Pop Century food court for breakfast- got my Mickey Waffles!

Food was all great! Oh yeah, and got my dole whip one rainy afternoon at Poly❤️❤️
