2012 Holiday Party Tickets On Sale
 Mickey's
Not So Scary Halloween Party" and "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas
Party" dates have been released. These are hard ticket events.
Guests must purchase separate admission to attend. Walt Disney World
limits the number of tickets sold in order to keep the crowds down
and many dates sell out in advance. Purchase tickets by calling
(407) W-DISNEY. Tickets went on sale today.

Starbucks Coming to
Disney Parks
 Disney
today announced plans to bring your Starbucks drinks and food items
to all of our theme parks at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World
Resort. In June, the first of six planned Starbucks locations is
scheduled to open at Disney California Adventure park. And more
locations are planned at Disneyland park and Walt Disney World
Resort (Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and
Disney’s Animal Kingdom).

Star Wars Weekend
Guest List Announced
 James
Arnold Taylor and Ashley Eckstein will be hosting all four Star Wars
Weekends this year. James is the voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi –
Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Ashley provides the voice of Ahsoka Tano. Other celebrities appearing during the event are Jeremy
Bulloch, Daniel Logan, Ray Park, Jake Lloyd and more.
Star Wars Weekends
blast into orbit May 18 and will be held four consecutive weekends
(Friday, Saturday and Sunday) through June 10, 2012
and are included with regular theme park admission.

Disney’s Art of
Animation Resort Releases Earlier Opening Dates
 The
wings dedicated to the popular films featured at Disney’s Art of
Animation Resort will now be opening than sooner than expected after
the resort hotel’s grand opening May 31. “We are excited that the
Cars, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid wings at Disney’s Art of
Animation Resort will all open earlier than we originally planned”
said Kevin Myers, vice president of resort operations for Walt
Disney World Resort. The Finding Nemo wings of the resort will open
May 31; Cars will now open June 18 instead of July 31; The Lion King
will open August 10 instead of September 30. The value rooms at The
Little Mermaid wings on September 15 instead of at the end of this
year. The Lion King, Cars and Finding Nemo buildings will be
entirely family suites, with 1,120 suites between them. The Little
Mermaid buildings will feature 864 rooms in the “value” room
category.

Disney Legend Robert Sherman Passes Away
 Songwriter
Robert Sherman died Monday, March 5 in London. Together with his
brother Richard, the Disney legend wrote a number of songs for
Disney movies and theme park attractions, including 'It's a Small
World (After All)' and 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious'.
