Ticket Price Increase Takes Effect Today
 Beginning
today, Walt Disney World will increase the base price of a one-day,
one-park ticket to $95, up from $89. The same ticket for a child 3-9
climbs $5, to $89. Multi-day ticket packages also increase though a
lesser amount. Park Hopper add-on options increased to $59, up from
$57. Water Park Fun & More add-ons are also now $59 per pass. In
addition, many of the park's other tickets have received a rise in
cost, including Annual Passes. All price changes are effective, June
2, 2013.

"Sounds Like
Summer” Concert Series Returns
 The good ole
days return to Epcot as select summer nights heat up from June 9
through July 27 with some of the world’s greatest tribute bands.
Classic hits from the likes of U2, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eagles, Bon Jovi and many
more will rock during Sounds Like Summer concert series. The
performances take place at the American Gardens Theater in World
Showcase. Concerts, which are included in regular Epcot admission,
are nightly at 5:30, 6:45 and 8:00 p.m.

International Food & Wine Festival September 27-November 11, 2013
 Disney
guests can sip and savor fresh flavors from six continents during
the 18th Epcot International Food & Wine Festival September 27 -
November 11, 2013 at Walt Disney World Resort. Chefs will debut the
authentic tastes of Scotland at the celebrated 46-day festival known
for innovative food, wine, beer, cocktails, music and entertainment.
The sizzling aromas of more than 25 ethnic and specialized
marketplaces including Africa, Brazil and Florida Local will tempt
guests strolling the World Showcase Promenade. Celebrity chefs like
Warren Brown and Jamie Deen will bring culinary cachet to special
festival events and demonstrations.

Holiday Party Tickets On Sale
 Mickey's
Not So Scary Halloween Party" and "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas
Party" dates have been released. These are hard ticket events.
Guests must purchase separate admission to attend. Walt Disney World
limits the number of tickets sold in order to keep the crowds down
and many dates sell out in advance. Purchase tickets by calling
(407) W-DISNEY. Tickets on sale now.

Festival of Fantasy Parade Coming to Magic Kingdom Park in 2014
 In
honor of the completion of New Fantasyland™ in 2014, the characters
and settings of New Fantasyland will burst forth onto the streets of
the Magic Kingdom® Park in the new Disney Festival of Fantasy
Parade. Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade will feature fantastical
floats, vibrantly-colored costumes and energetic performances.
Featuring a cavalcade of beloved Disney characters interacting with
Guests, the new parade includes characters from classic Disney
animated films such as The Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, Dumbo,
Pinocchio and Tangled, along with the new Disney-Pixar favorite
Brave. An original score is being created – full of beloved
Disney classic songs along with a specially-created parade theme.

Disney Parks to Kick
Off a ‘Monstrous Summer’ With 24 Hours of Magic on Both Coasts
 Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort will kick off a
Monstrous Summer by keeping three theme parks open for 24 hours
nonstop on Memorial Day Weekend, the traditional start of the family
travel season.
The Magic Kingdom Park in Florida and Disneyland Park and Disney
California Adventure Park in California will stay open from 6 a.m.,
May 24 to 6 a.m., May 25, 2013, local time marking the beginning of
a summer of fun inspired by the upcoming Disney•Pixar comedy
adventure Monsters University.

runDisney Princess Half Marathon Weekend Adds New Race, New
Challenge and New Medals
 Building
on the success of its women-focused events, runDisney is broadening
the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend at Walt Disney
World Resort next year by adding a 10K and a new two-race challenge.
The Princess 10K gives runners of various levels more opportunities
to run through Disney theme parks and receive a specially-designed
finisher medal. And runners looking for an even bigger challenge can
sign up for the 10K on Saturday and the Half Marathon on Sunday
(19.3 miles total) to earn the inaugural Disney Glass Slipper
Challenge Medal to go along with medals from each individual race.
The Princess Half Marathon Weekend, scheduled for Feb. 20-23, is one
of two women-focused runDisney events. The other is the Tinker Bell
Half Marathon Weekend in January at Disneyland Resort in
California.
